Built for Synty's 12th Birthday Jam (theme: Hide and Seek), but I missed the submission window, so it's live here instead as an in-development demo.

You've been sent to collect a debt from someone who doesn't want to be found. Search three zones of a town,  each one populated by a custom editor tool built for this project; reading the crowd for who doesn't quite belong. Find them, and a piece of the story unlocks. By the end, you'll know more about why they ran than you expected to.

Currently playable:

  • Three gated zones, each with a hidden target among a populated crowd
  • Custom camouflage system: later zones are procedurally harder to read
  • Unique story fragment unlocked per zone on a correct find
  • Third-person movement with a raycast-based "search the crowd" interaction

Still in development:

  • Fourth zone (confrontation + ending choice)
  • Audio pass, reaction polish
  • Additional environmental storytelling detail

Built solo in Unity, using Synty's asset library. The population tool that drives this, a custom editor-time crowd generator with tunable camouflage difficulty, was the technical centerpiece of the project; a devlog on how it works is coming soon.
