For my Made to be Played Jam submission, I’ve taken to the high seas.

Toxic Piracy is now available on itch.io.

Avast ye matey, as you are now the captain of the Yawlassa and it is your responsibility to cleanse the seas of these ghastly toxic ships and their waste, collect the treasures, and fend off the pirates looking to sink your ship and steal your riches.

Toxic Piracy is the fastest project I think I’ve managed to design and develop from scratch. The theme for this game jam was Toxic. This month I’ve challenged myself with working through a series of jams that vary in scope and deadlines. This week’s submission is the first that I’ve finished this month.

What’s in here:

  • Constantly regenerating enemies, treasures and hazards
  • Randomly generated island maps for each new level
  • Hefty ship weight and mechanics for those close encounters

Take the wheel Cap’n and see how much treasure you can rack up. When you play it, make sure to submit your rating for game jam and let me know what your high score is!
